Russian born player from Khabarovsk, Russia. Attended Culver Military Academy for my prep school hockey days. Then was a 4 year Varsity letterman at Middlebury College (Division III) in Middlebury, VT. During his time at Middlebury he was a member of a four time NESCAC (2004-2007) Championship and a back to back to back National Championship teams (2004-2006). For his professional years he had the privilege to play for Fort Wayne Komets of the IHL where we won the Turner Cup. Then played for Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and Wichita Thunder in the CHL. Was an invitee to the Worcester Sharks of the AHL (farm team to the San Jose Sharks). Currently Yev is the head coach of the Puget Sound Tomahawks in the NORPAC league.
